The Information System Supporting Logistics
EPCIS is a GS1 Global Standard that allows you to create visibility on realized logistics actions and to easily share this information between companies.
The collected and shared information brings unbeatable visibility on the Supply Chain and many optimization solutions.
The EPCIS will therefore collect information from many sources (gantry, scanner, smartphone, etc.) with different formats (barcode, RFID, QR code, NFC, etc.) and make it visible for selected partners.
